As an Order Handler, you’ll be at the frontline of our Military Satellite Communications service, working closely with our customer and operational teams. You’ll translate customer requirements into actionable orders, ensure requests are delivered against agreed service levels, and help maintain the high standards Babcock is known for.
This is a highly visible role where your professionalism and attention to detail directly shape the customer experience. You’ll develop in‑depth knowledge of satellite communications services, build strong stakeholder relationships, and grow your career within a supportive, mission‑driven environment that values continuous learning and development.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Handle all customer requests, providing potential solutions and resolving any problems that arise ensuring the request is successfully fulfilled.
- Ensure customer requests are fulfilled in accordance with service performance commitments and our KPIs
- Continually develop your knowledge of customer requirements, Babcock services and tools to enable you to meet customer needs effectively and efficiently.
- Escalate incidents and issues which could impact services to the relevant teams.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based at Corsham, Wiltshire.
Essential experience of the Order Handler
- Knowledge of military satellite systems.
- Experience of military customers and developing customer intent into technical outcomes.
- Experience working to KPIs
- Demonstrable experience of problem solving and adapting to meet changing circumstances.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Sole UK only.
