The company commenced trading on 1 October 2014 and has experienced rapid growth since inception, now operating across multiple locations in the UK and Europe.

They provide SPV management services across 27 asset classes, building on initial capability across education and healthcare, and now active across many additional social infrastructure sectors, street lighting, renewables and environmental services.

They have over £4bn of assets under management across 200+ contracts. Services are delivered by a multi-disciplined team of over 200 people, and the company generates an annual turnover in excess of £28m. The business anticipates further growth in the coming years, with existing engagements under long-term contracts and visibility of a healthy pipeline of additional contracts.

Role Overview

The primary focus of the role will be to provide support to the General Manager where collective responsibility is assumed for ensuring that the scope of services within the Management Services Agreement (MSA) are performed and that the obligations of the investment vehicle (Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV)) are discharged.

General Management

Provide operations management and compliance monitoring services to the SPV.

Seek to act in the best interests of the SPV in dealings with the Client and the SPVs supply chain (the Project Participants).

Attend meetings upon reasonable notice (as reasonably requested by the Shareholders, the SPV or the Client) related to the provision of the Project.

Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the Project Documents.

Operations Management

Monitor the planned and reactive maintenance activities, through a combination of site visits and review of information provided by the SPV supply chain.

Participate in periodic health and safety assurance audits. Monitor and report on health and safety matters.

Support the management, agreement, reporting and delivery of Project variations.

Maintain a register of project issues and work with the Project Participants to progress them to conclusion, periodically reporting against the same to the SPV.

Support the procurement and maintenance the operational insurances, including insurance reinstatement valuations.

Review and challenge the lifecycle planning and asset management proposals received from the SPVs supply chain.

Maintain a schedule of contract deliverables and associated project calendar to ensure that all deliverables are forecast, periodically reporting against the same to the SPV.

Stakeholder Management

Monitor the performance of the SPVs supply chain, and their compliance with their sub-contract.

Monitor the development, implementation and operation of the SPV supply chains policies and procedures associated with delivery of services in order to meet the requirements of the Project Documents.

Support the General Manager in the receipt and review of the monthly performance reports from the SPVs supply chain; contribute to the required reports for the Client in support of the monthly invoice; attend progress meetings with the SPVs supply chain and Client, and support the management of performance shortfalls.

Develop effective working relationships with all Project Participants.

Support the General Manager in good faith discussions between the Project Participants to mitigate or resolve potential disputes.

Commercial Support

Work with the General Manager to provide commercial support to the SPV in relation to matters arising in the ordinary course of the SPVs business, including interpretation of the payment mechanism, evaluating deductions and performance against contractual standards.

Ad-hoc Duties

Carry out such additional duties as may be required from time to time.
