The role
As a Multimedia Producer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of defence communications, develop your creative portfolio, and contribute to meaningful campaigns that support national security.
Day-to-day, you’ll be part of our Creative Services Team, using your technical and creative expertise to produce engaging multimedia content that supports internal and external communications. From video and audio production to animation and graphic design, you’ll help shape the way we communicate across the business.
- Capturing audio and video footage, including stock footage and event coverage.
- Creating content using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and other software.
- Supporting live events with video capture and livestreaming.
- Providing technical guidance and training to the Communications Team.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to scope and deliver creative proposals.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Multimedia Producer
- High competency in Adobe Creative Suite, audio production software, and livestreaming tools.
- Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in corporate branding and design development.
Qualifications for the Multimedia Producer
- Degree, HND, HNC or Diploma in filmmaking, digital photography, graphic/media design, multimedia/interactive design, animation, or related subjects.
- Alternatively, a proven track record supported by a strong portfolio or postgraduate study in design, computing, or technology.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including English and Maths.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
