Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day management of incoming cases and guidance to Operators for correct case handling.
• Training and education.
• Guidance and reviews surrounding complex medical cases and queries. Cases defined as:
- High loss
- Long Term
- Evacuations
- Repatriations
- Oncology Cases
- Experimental treatments
Polytrauma
• Compiling case studies for Business Development purposes on cases of significance.
• Compilation of health alerts of global significance for distribution on Social Media.
• Researching and writing reports on matters of global significance for distribution to clients.
• Business Development support for Insurance/Direct Clients/PMI Clients.
• Support to Network Manager for onboarding of new facilities/Service Providers.
• Medical representation in any business vital meetings.
• Writing of claims processes and supporting in the onboarding of clients for medical aspects of contracts.
• Active risk management and post-incident reporting.
• Medical case management training for Operators and Ops Management.
• Medical Product and Service Development.
• Operational command, control and coordination of emergency medical, political, natural disaster and security response.
• Service emergency hotlines and triage requests as required.
• Contribute to the Crisis Management Team (CMT) in the event of a client crisis or major response requirement.
• Provide support and escalation options to the Tracking Operations team.
• On Call for after–hours queries as part of the Duty Manager Roster.
Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records relating to all client objectives and requirements on company internal systems.
• Case management and document control.
• Manage and control third-party providers concerning tasks.
• Monitor, in collaboration with client accounts, all client-associated invoices and expenses.
• Establish, grow and maintain networks and service providers.
• Distribute knowledge to the wider operations team regarding service provider capability.
• Responsible for collating information to produce case studies.
Other Duties:
• Direct Support to the Medical Officer.
• Support to the business including presenting to potential and current clients our operational capability and any relevant case briefs/updates.
• Identify opportunities to promote and enhance company initiatives.
Qualifications and experience:
• Medical Qualifications
• 3 years previous demonstrable and successful experience in travel & medical assistance, Including the organisation and execution of evacuations, medical response and security-related tasks.
• Proven ability to deal with emergency situations and respond using a wide array of resources within specified timelines.
• Ability to work within a dynamic response team and provide leadership when required, in a challenging environment.
• Ability to read, comprehend and organise taskings and client requests.
• Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and client focused.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office/365 software and applications.
• Have qualifications and hold a previous record of training with emergency management and response.
Desirable:
• Experience in providing wider health, security and risk management services.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM system.
• A second language - ideally French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Mandarin (or willing to study and improve competence).
• We would welcome candidates with backgrounds as paramedics, nurses or registered medical professionals, including foreigners with the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
What's on offer:
• £32,500 - £35,000 (DOE)

• Monday to Friday 40Hr week office-based but with exceptions:
• Some remote/hybrid working may be possible.
• Occasional out-of-hours working.
