The role

As a Material Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for coordinating and releasing material requirements through the MRP worksheet to ensure timely and accurate supply chain support.

Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address material shortages
  • Lead mitigation efforts to prevent disruptions to workshop operations
  • Support development of MRP capabilities to align with operational planning and customer needs.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is based on site at DSG Donnington, Shropshire.

Essential experience of the Material Planner:

  • Proven experience in an engineering planning or production control environment
  • Proficient in using MRP systems and planning tools to manage material requirements

Qualifications for the Material Planner:
