Applies Engineering concepts and theories to deliver the development of designs, calculations and technical solutions for Babcock products and services across the Engineering Product Lifecycle. Works independently with occasional supervision, seeking guidance for complex situations Develops learning, skills and experience within discipline or domain. - Strong experience in milling and turning, with the ability to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
- Proven experience estimating machining and assembly processes from 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Ability to interpret and work to technical drawings, with knowledge of GD&T requirements.
- Computer literate and able to pick up new software/ERP (IFS/SAP etc)
- Understanding of various work holding options and the design of innovative fixture methods, with a background in manufacturing engineering being beneficial.
