The role
As a Licenced B2 Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our aviation operations, ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft that support critical missions across defence and emergency services. This is a hands-on role where your technical skills will directly contribute to national resilience and public safety. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, working with cutting-edge technology and gaining exposure to a wide range of aircraft systems.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Repairing and maintaining aircraft avionic systems
- Performing electrical continuity checks in line with engineering drawings
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical wiring faults
- Supporting line aircraft avionic system checks, tests and repairs
- Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure compliance and safety
This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at onsite at Staverton (Gloucestershire Airport).
Essential experience of the Licenced B2 Engineer:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of electrical loom manufacture and installation standards
- Understanding of avionics system integration
Qualifications for the Licenced B2 Engineer:
- Preferably hold a valid CAA Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Type ratings on EC-135 and H145 aircraft are highly desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
