The role

As a Head Office IT Support Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our corporate operations, delivering high-level technical support to our Executive Committee and senior stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you’ll be delivering ‘white glove’ IT support to Babcock’s Executive Committee.

  • Resolving faults across all end-user platforms with speed and precision
  • Supporting MS Teams meetings and video conferencing events end-to-end
  • Providing desktop support via phone, email and in-person across the Group
  • Troubleshooting issues with PCs, laptops, printers, LAN, and mobile devices

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at Wigmore Street.

Essential experience of the Head Office IT Support Specialist:

  • Supporting executive-level users in a Head Office environment
  • Thriving under pressure and meeting service level agreements
  • Working within ITIL frameworks and processes
  • Providing 2nd Line desktop support in a Windows 11 environment
  • Configuring and supporting MS Teams (including live events), Polycom VC, and mobile devices (MDM, Intune, iPhones/iPads)

Qualifications for the Head Office IT Support Specialist:

  • Relevant IT certifications or equivalent experience in desktop support
  • ITIL Foundation certification would be preferred
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-102) would be preferred

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) / Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
