The role
As a Emerging Talent Coordinator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to nurture the next generation of talent in defence, aerospace and engineering. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to support the development of graduates and undergraduates, while leading initiatives that make a real difference, like STEM returners and mentoring programmes.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Providing administrative support including training bookings, meeting coordination and inbox management
- Coordinating onboarding for early careers participants, ensuring systems access and induction materials are ready
- Supporting logistics for training sessions, mentor meetings and events
- Liaising with internal departments and external partners like colleges and training providers
- Assisting in preparing reports and presentations for programme reviews
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth.
Essential experience of the Emerging Talent Coordinator:
- Good knowledge of early careers, recruitment or HR administrative processes
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Methodical approach and ability to use your own initiative
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Proactive in identifying and improving administrative processes
Qualifications for the Emerging Talent Coordinator:
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent (Level 3 of the national qualification framework)
- GCSE level English & Maths (or equivalent)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
