The role
As a Cost Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our Spares and Kitting business within the Nuclear Services workstream. This is a dynamic role where you’ll combine cost management with project controls, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting key decision-making.
Day-to-day, you'll be
- Supporting cost engineers with financial reporting and project controls activities.
- Managing profit and loss accounts, cash flow, and account balancing.
- Presenting cost data and statistical insights to inform management decisions.
- Monitoring delivery performance against customer KPIs.
- Contributing to the development of our in-house finance forecasting system.
This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working patterns are available, with three days on-site based in Warrington, Cheshire.
Essential experience of the Cost Specialist:
- Hands-on experience with profit and loss accounts, cash flow, and account balancing.
- Experience managing commercial elements of contracts, including payment terms and conditions.
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
Qualifications for the Cost Specialist:
- Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
Security Clearance
