As a Contract Support Officer – International Relations, you’ll provide both operational and strategic support to international defence contracts, enabling effective delivery of business objectives while facilitating communication with overseas partners. This is an exciting opportunity to act as a key interface with foreign stakeholders — interpreting technical and commercial information, ensuring clarity across engineering and supply chain teams, and promoting strong collaborative relationships.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Support contract performance and implement changes as required
- Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and overseas partners
- Interpret and translate technical and commercial documentation accurately
- Support business development activity within the international defence sector
- Apply strong cultural awareness and organisational skills to ensure smooth contract delivery.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 3 days onsite at Andover. The role involves UK based and international travel.
Essential experience of the Contract Support Officer:
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Ukrainian and English
- Proven experience in professional interpretation and translation
- Understanding of engineering and supply chain terminology
- Experience in the defence sector, specifically with military platforms.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) security clearance for this role.
