The role

As a Clean Energy Business Development Director, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nuclear innovation and sustainability. You’ll lead strategic growth initiatives across Cavendish Nuclear’s Clean Energy business, helping to drive the development of small modular reactors and other cutting-edge technologies.

Day-to-day, you’ll be

  • Leading business development initiatives across the Clean Energy portfolio
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the nuclear sector
  • Identifying and securing new growth opportunities in clean energy markets
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to shape strategic direction
  • Managing and mentoring a team to deliver commercial success

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 37 hours per week, based at one of our key Cavendish Nuclear locations at either Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol. Hybrid working arrangements are available, and frequent travel to client sites and other hubs is expected.

Essential experience of the Clean Energy Business Development Director:

  • Proven experience in a business development or growth role within the nuclear industry
  • Strong network and knowledge of the UK nuclear market
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of delivering growth

Security Clearance
