The role

As a Business Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your contribution will help ensure operations run efficiently, data is accurate, and teams have the administrative support they need to deliver highly important outcomes. This role offers excellent exposure to a global engineering organisation and provides strong foundations for long‑term career development within the defence and engineering sector.

Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:

  • Processing vehicle inwards and decommissioned vehicles, producing despatch notes, logbooks and registering vehicles with the DVLA
  • Maintaining accurate records through data entry, invoice preparation and asset management, including IT equipment returns
  • Supporting operational teams through meeting room coordination, post handling, pool car bookings, greeting and managing vistors.
  • Managing administrative activities such as staff holiday tracking and internal documentation
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, from shop‑floor teams to senior leadership

This is a full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week, based on site at our Walsall site, Monday to Friday.

Essential experience of the Business Support Administrator:

  • Experience working within a fast‑paced administrative or business support function
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise effectively
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, “completer‑finisher” approach
  • intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications for the Business Support Administrator:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
