The role
As a Bid Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our Business Winning function, helping to shape high-quality, compliant bids that directly support Babcock’s mission to deliver critical services across defence, aerospace, and engineering. Day-to-day you’ll be:
• Monitoring tender portals and managing bid schedules and documentation
• Coordinating input from internal teams to build compelling, compliant submissions
• Supporting bid meetings, workshops, and review processes
• Tracking progress, budgets, and lessons learned to improve future bids
• Maintaining bid tools and contributing to continuous improvement across the Business Winning function


The role is based at any of our main UK locations, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Flexible working patterns are available.

Essential experience of the Bid Coordinator:
• Understanding of tendering and capture processes, with proven experience
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, able to motivate others towards a common goal
• High attention to detail and a positive, solution-focused attitude

Qualifications for the Bid Coordinator:
• Educated to A-Level or equivalent

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
