The role
As an Advanced Sourcing and Technology Integration Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the forefront of bringing cutting-edge technologies to market - starting with our pioneering Carbon Capture solutions. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of our business and help shape the next generation of sustainable engineering. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver lifecycle-optimised solutions that make a real difference to our customers, our communities, and your career.
Day-to-day you’ll be required to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and customers
- Identify and engage with global manufacturers to establish strategic partnerships
- Lead cross-disciplinary sourcing initiatives with engineering teams
- Conduct market analysis to spot trends, risks, and opportunities
- Request budget quotations and manage evolving specifications during concept phases
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Advanced Sourcing and Technology Integration Manager
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, technology integration, or supplier development in engineering or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and procurement processes
- Experience collaborating with Research and Development, engineering, and operations teams
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align sourcing with long-term goals
- Technical acumen and confidence in engaging with engineering teams
Qualifications for the Advanced Sourcing and Technology Integration Manager
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related technical discipline
