The role
As an Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our Marine Engineering & Systems team, ensuring the smooth running of essential processes that support national defence and engineering projects. This is more than just an admin role — it’s an opportunity to contribute to work that matters, while developing your skills in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Investigate discrepancies and shortages, ensuring accurate records and document control.
- Collate and extract data to produce reports, schedules, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to arrange orders, appointments, and deliveries.
- Verify calculations, check costs, and ensure correct authorisations for documentation.
- Maintain filing systems and process weekly timesheets for the T31 team.
This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2- 3 days in the office/onsite at Rosyth and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Administrator:
- General administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with time booking ERP systems (preferred).
Qualifications for the Administrator:
- National 5 in English and Maths or Level 3 equivalent.
- Additional IT or administration qualifications are advantageous.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
