The Role
As the Global Head of Product Cyber Resilience, you’ll lead the development and implementation of a robust cyber resilience framework across Babcock International Group. This is a high-impact role that will shape how we protect our products and systems against evolving cyber threats, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and commercial obligations.
You’ll work closely with technical teams across time zones, influencing strategy and governance at the highest level. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in national defence and global security, while advancing your career in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
This full-time, permanent role is based at any of our offices in the UK or Australia, with flexible working patterns available. Travel to other Babcock and customer sites may be required.
Day-to-day you’ll be:
- Developing and continuously improving the Group Product Cyber Resilience strategy, policy, and guidance
- Supporting business areas to align with group-level cyber resilience requirements
- Contributing to technical governance and assurance for cyber resilience across projects and contracts
- Participating in technical assurance reviews and audits across the organisation
- Creating and managing a cyber resilience data analytics and reporting system
Essential experience of the Global Head of Product Cyber Resilience:
- Extensive background in product cyber security functions
- Broad experience across commercial and defence projects
- Deep understanding of cyber security systems, technologies, and standards
- Proven ability to communicate across time zones and with diverse stakeholders
- Expertise in cyber resilience, ideally within the defence sector
Qualifications
Chartered Professional Engineering credential with a recognised technical or engineering body in a relevant field.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
